Up with the cats, half a day's work, then (surprise!) another half a day's work... well almost.
Then, it was out to dinner for Thai bar-be-que at the 99-baht-buffet place. There is... was.... no more economical a way to feed the family (maid included) in town, but our usual restaurant has changed their prices and policies. Now, it is 119 baht per person, and little kids do not eat for free. Therefore, three adults, one child, 2 liters of soda is not 400 baht ($10), but is instead now $650 baht ($16).
Well, there are only about 200 other 99-baht-buffet places in Pattaya. We'll find another one.
