When I moved to Thailand, the baht had been going down in value (up in exchange rate) against the dollar for the better part of a decade. When I arrived, it was 42 to the dollar. Yesterday, it went below 36.5.
That means I have to do 15% more work just to get the same amount of money out of the ATM each payday. That isn't how things were supposed to work out.
