Lower East Side Ukranian gypsies and jews playing punk folk music with Borat's younger brother channeling Jello Biafra as lead singer. No really: Imagine The Clash coming to play a barmitzvah... complete with accordians and fiddles.
Their most recent album is called "Gypsy Punks: Underdog World Strike" and is entirely great, with my personal favorites being "Start Wearing Purple" (probably a reject from the original score of Fiddler On The Roof), the instrumental "Mishto!" (where all the babushkas get up and dance), the meshuggah "Think Locally, F**k Globally".
Actually, the whole album is worth buying (which are the only bands worthy of a mention on the (still officially not music-oriented) Jil In Pattaya blog).
Below is the video of what is actually the best song of the whole album, "Not A Crime." (Unless you speak Ukranian, you don't get to find out what the "crime" is... although I have my guesses.)
