Prices for food were reasonable, and the dining room was clean and bright with new furniture and pleasant-enough decor. The staff seemed generally competent and the service was error-free. Everything was more than acceptable for an establishment that isn't focused exclusively on food.

For entreés, the girls had Thai food while Stan had a Yorkshire pudding upon which lay potatoes, some really nice sausages, onions, and gravy. Stan claimed the Yorkshire pudding is as good as you can hope to find in Thailand. I had the gammon steak which was served with peas, fries, and 2 fried eggs, which was a lovely piece ham-style cured pork. (For the diet, I only ate about a qurter of the steak and all of the peas, sampled Stan's platter, and took the rest of it home.)
Overall, Ricky's on Soi Buakhow (about halfway between Soi Diana and Pattaya South Road, on the "Third Road" side of the street) is a nice little restaurant serving reasonably-priced, high quality British food. Definitely worth a visit for a middle-of-the-road budget combined with a good appetite.
