U.S. Rep. William Jefferson, the eight-term incumbent Democrat whose campaign for re-election was overshadowed by a federal bribery probe, won re-election Saturday in a battle against a well-financed fellow black Democrat.People nationwide tossed out Republicans in the last election largely because of perceived corruption. Then the blockheads in Louisiana reelect a Democrat who actually is corrupt.
Well, rest assured, he probably has only been reelected just to get his ass tossed out of Congress on ethics charges. I consider myself a libertarian, but I am currently caucusing with the Democrats when it comes to fighting corruption (we libertarians always have to caucus with one or the other party on most issues)... and this is an embarrasing way for the Democrats to have to start the fight against corruption: Against a Democratic congressman who was reelected while charged with corruption.
Well... get it over with: Bounce his ass high and hard.
