Daily Report #1774

I think that out of all the simple things in life that I enjoy most, drifting off to sleep has to top my list. I lead my mind around for a while, and then eventually it goes zoom... off on its own, taking me to all the interesting places I can only dream of.

That, of course, is why I beat the snot out of my snooze button every morning: Two or three dozen opportunities to enjoy the "drifting off" experience.

I did half a day's work again, but at least it was the new improved half day. (Truth be told, if I do 7 of the new half days per week, I earn a six-figure salary — in dollars, not baht — so it's really only a bad thing in the more-is-always-better sense.)

I had grilled chicken breast for lunch, and Ramen noodles and a baloney sandwich for dinner. (I know I eat like I must be a Steuben County trailer park welfare case, but it really is what I happen to enjoy eating at the moment.) Hey: At least it isn't spaghetti carbonara or a Big Mac. Those were my previous menu selections.

More piƱa coladas tonight. Red Dwarf on BBC-E, The 4400 on AXN.
