Daily Report: Borderline Interesting

I was up at 5:30 for a 6:30 van to the border (which left at 6:15... same as 2 months ago, but this time I was there for the departure). I arrived at the border at 9:30 on the dot, was into Cambodia by 9:31, and was back into Thailand by oh... 9:40.

(Note: They are indeed making little 1's and 2's on the stamps in passports now, counting up to 3, at which point you have to find another method of obtaining a visa.)

We were back to Pattaya at 1:00 on the dot.

I stopped by McDonald's for a hamburger before going home to work for 2 hours. After that, it was out for a beer at Rick's bar (with Justin only, as Rick is getting back from Viet Nam later tonight), and from there over to Stan's, and then out to L'Olivier for dinner. (Had the duck in honey sauce this time, and a vegetable puree soup that was excellent.)

After that, it was back to Stan's house where we watched "The Science of Fighting" on the National Geographic channel, and then home for bed at 10:00 p.m.

By the way, where is this border crossing at? Just curious...

It is northeast of the city of Chantaburi. Find Chantaburi on the map, go northeast until you hit the Cambodian border, and there you are.
