Eating What?

In the Wrinkle Household, Thailand Branch, some of us speak Thai most of the time (that would be me), and some of speak English most of the time (that would be Toom). We do it this way, because we mistakenly believe that mangling each other's language makes it easier for us to be understood.

Unfortunately, I don't know every word in Thai, and Toom doesn't know every word in English, so we just throw in the English / Thai word in the middle of a Thai / English sentence. That along with terrible pronunciation leads invariably to comedy... before leading to a dictionary.

Toom: "Tomorrow I want wake up and go buy french poo for eat with rice."

French is the mispronunciation of "fresh".
Poo is the Thai word for "crab".
