The port of Laem Chabang, which is situated at the foot of the next promontory that juts out north up the coast from Pattaya is the 19th largest container port in the world... just beating out Tokyo (20th), and almost catching up with the entire New York / New Jersey harbor system (17th). Pretty impressive.
