Final Pattaya Songkran Report Is In

The final report of Songkran is in, and here in Pattaya the damage to life and limb looks to be almost non-existant.

I have to say that this is a welcome development in a holiday which is traditionally known as the deadliest time of the year in Thailand.

However, with a national accounting of 4,274 accidents, 361 fatalities, and 4,805 injured, Thailand still has a lot of room for improvement in Songkran safety.
