My eye is easily distracted. Whenever I'm reading a website, and there is one of those flashy advertisements over on the side, it always grabs my eye and makes me lose my place when I'm reading. With Firefox, no problem: Right click on the picture, and select "Block Images from _____.com" and in a few seconds, you are left with a nice, peaceful empty space. Way cool.

The One-More-Reason-To-Love-Firefox Post

Try the ad blocker add-on. It's called adblocker plus. It works great I never see any adds I also use the plug in for it that automagicly downloads new definitions.
Nice. Pretty soon, I'm going to start thumbing through all the Firefox plugins to see what is available.
