Law Enforcement On Demand In Pattaya

Our immigration police are a crackerjack squad of effective law enforcement officers. Today, they lined up in rank out front of the immigration office, and were told (while news cameras rolled, naturally) that now was the time to pick up their efforts on combatting illegal immigrants.

The officers gave a crisp salute, and having received their orders, went out to find some illegal aliens.

On the very same day, Thai immigration rounded up 120 illegal immigrants from Myanmar. Wow! I wonder how all the illegal Cambodians in Pattaya managed to evade discovery at the same time?

Well all in all, a very successful day for Pattaya's Immigration Department, if oddly skewed towards one nationality.

(The police should have just walked down Walking Street or Soi Buakow checking passports. They would have caught at least as many illegal immigrants... albeit the tall, white, rich, European kind as opposed to the small, brown, poor, Asian kind.)
