As per usual, tourists complaining about Uzbeki girls propositioning people on the street and in bars led to a police crackdown.As everybody knows, in Pattaya, nobody except Uzbeki prostitutes would walk over from the street and bother you while you are sitting at a beer bar... and no Thai person would ever offer themselves to you up for sex while you are walking down the street. No wonder the tourists (and not Thai bar owners, Thai bar girls, or the Thai people in general) complained.
Anyway, as the police stated, foreign prostitutes are a nuisance, a stain on Pattaya, and should be rounded up... just like all of those American football hooligans in London, giving England a bad reputation.

With all those east euro go-go bars on walking street. I was wondering how long it would take for them to wear out thier welcome. It seemed they appeared a few years ago and have grown on a massive scale. I am surprised it took this long for the Thai's to figure out they would bring in many Illegals and suck money and jobs from thier economy. From Jakal
I agree with the police: they are a pesty bunch.
Round them up and send them home. Thailand is nationlalistic and will protect their own first.
A soi dog has more rights than most 'visitors' there.
Something expats forget; they are ALL (welcome for their money) only guests.
