Scared Yet?

When the leader of the most powerful nation on earth gets to this point, it is really time to start worrying.

But by all reports, President Bush is more utterly convinced than ever of his righteousness [regarding the Iraq war].

Friends of his from Texas were shocked recently to find him nearly wild-eyed, thumping himself on the chest three times while he repeated "I am the president!" He also made it clear he was setting Iraq up so his successor could not get out of "our country’s destiny."

This was the man, as a candidate for President, who said, "I don't think our troops ought to be used for what's called nation-building." Now it is his country's destiny?

Is President Bush really trying to weave America so tightly into the Iraq war that whoever replaces him will have no diplomatic or moral way to extricate U.S. armed forces without irreparably damaging the United States of America — assuming he hasn't already? (That certainly sounds like what he is insinuating in the quote above.) Does this man have any other brilliant ideas lurking in the back of his mind that he wants to put into action before his 8 years are up? Bombing Iran or Syria perhaps?

This really sounds like a person who is purposefully planning actions that he knows will be problematic and damaging for America in the future; turning his country down some 1-way path that cannot be abandoned once it is started upon. This man is truly the most dangerous person in the world.

He has been insane ever since he smirked his way to the last illegal win of his last term.
Remember? Gore won the popular vote..
BUT, the media forgot about that as they are fickle and corrupt and censor-happy here.
Sad.
