Off topic again but don't you find this an interesting observation!!
"I've been keeping this thought on the back-burner for quite some time now, hoping that I might stray across an answer to this question. How come Google Earth has a dearth of people - not one - nada - zilch - nothing. There's plenty of vehicles on the roads but no pedestrians. But how did they get rid of them all. It would be one helluva job to airbrush out every human image on the planet. Thoughts people, please."
You must not have been looking very hard: I opened Google Earth, went to Times Square, and there were thousands of people walking around.
I uninstalled Google Earth a while ago and not got round to reinstalling. This was a comment I found on one of my net searches, the guy who made it must have been blind, I never verified it!
