Daily Report: Who Rules

I was up a little late at 7:30 this morning; but as per usual on Monday mornings, getting a jump on work is not that important, as there isn't too much work that I need to do. (I still did get a little bit done though.)

In the late morning, Epril had a doctor's appointment, and then we went to lunch at Bob's Bar-Be-Que. I had never had Bob's Mexican food before — a new addition to his menu — and I was really surprised: The beef burrito is (a) delicious, (b) huge, and (c) at 125 baht, an amazing deal. The nachos supreme at 95 baht is an equally good deal. Epril and I divided the two dishes between us, and had more than enough to eat. My best friend Bob's restaurant is now located on Soi LK Metro (which is a sidestreet off of Soi Diana). Stop by and try the Mexican Food.

In the afternoon, I put up the aquarium photos, and then got to work, and plugged away until about 6:00. Epril and I then watched a documentary on the "Atlantic Wall" in World War 2 that was breached in the invasion of Normandy. Then, we watched back-to-back episodes of Doctor Who.

I really do enjoy the hell out of this show. I have never seen an older episode of Doctor Who before this newest incarnation, so I cannot compare, but I love the way the character is played, and his sidekick (a girl named Rose) is fun too. The episode plots are clever, thought-provoking, and a little bit toungue-in-cheek.

If you want to tune in, Doctor Who is on every Monday at 8:00 p.m. on the BBC on UPC Satellite here in Pattaya.
