Daily Report: New Recruits

Up a little late, and got to work a little later. I only did 2 hours of work before lunch break (tacos from Bob's Carrefour). However, in the afternoon, I went on a tear, and got a good amount of work done.

I went out and paid bills this afternoon, and then went with Pui and Pot over to Rick's bar for the evening.

Rick's new students for the month arrived over the weekend: Two girls from America and a fellow from Bangladesh. Willie introduced them to the bug cart.

What is Rick's job exactly?

How does Willie like his new house?

Are you still mad I missed our lunch date (even though I got in at 6am that day)?

Yuk, no thanks it is kind of a fear factor thing I am not in to that.
Why no photos of your self?

I don't put up photos of myself because I like a bit of anonymity. About once every 3 or 4 months, I write something on this blog that enrages one or two people who threaten that they are going to teach me a lesson, or send the cops to my house, or kill my cats.

I'm not that hard a person to find (as you can tell by my blog) when I'm out, but I don't want to make it too easy for the idiots and crazies out there.

Rick's job is running schools in Pattaya, Ho Chi Min City, and Phnom Penh, which train recent college graduates to become English teachers, and he then finds them jobs. (Part of the package that the students buy includes trips around the area, such as the trip to Laos we made recently.)

Willie hasn't commented much on his home... but seems to like it just fine, except for the fact that he has no chairs.

Not mad... just let down... but it's just something I have to get used to I suppose. It's the second time you've cancelled and there have been lots of times where you never showed up at all. Personally, I never miss appointments for even the most major reason (I once changed travel arrangements just to make it to a birthday party I had agreed to attend) and freak out when I am even late. That's me... and there's you, who is the exact opposite. It's not that big a deal and I've learned to live with it... or at least expect it, so don't let it bother you too much... just enough so that you make it the next time. Heh.

I think you should come out with me until well after the sunrise and feel my pain and woes!

Jil, email me on yahoo or MSN as I want to ask you a question regarding a house near SCC.
