The king's eldest sister died at 3:00 a.m. on January 2nd. Thailand government agencies will be in official mourning for 15 days, and you can expect local Thai citizens to be practicing some form of grieving as well, although what effect that might have on day-to-day life here in Pattaya I cannot say.My condolences to His Majesty and the Royal Family.
