Very interesting.It's one of those things that you never see done, so it never occurs to you to wonder why it isn't ever done. Every sunrise, Buddhist monks wander the streets of Thailand looking for alms. However, a monk going around Walking Street at night asking for alms is the height of irregular... to the point where somebody (perhaps offended Thai people?) called the police.
He was immediately taken to temple by the police, where he was disrobed.
